Welcome to the site. I've seen that you've posted a bio here, that's a great start. We haven't progressed very far since when you were last with us on Facebook. I have all of the ITM work from over there before it got deleted up on conversion so if you would like me to hunt out your original posts let me know and you can carry on with those characters again.
At the moment activity is a bit slow, mainly due to members being exceedingly busy with school work, work or other creative writing projects. But you are welcome to have a read over the last RP day of posts and jump in on the main thread or post an idea or two if you want to be apart of the side thread for the Order of the Phoenix.
Oh, that's right...I think I did have more than one character. lol It's been too long since I've been on here. Yeah, if you can find those other posts, that'd be great.
I had a brief look to try and find your back posts Amanda but my desktop is struggling to open the really big files. I have a plan to get these files onto the laptop to try and open and shrink them. Will let you know ASAP if that works.
Previous posts were the weekend before the current RP day:
After using the rest of the day and on into the evening practicing both the art of falling to the ground from the ceiling as well as the art of gracefully walking down the wall, Betta made her way down to the Slytherin dormitory, wondering when her bloodlust was going to take effect. She'd heard horror stories about vampires, had had nightmares about them. And now she was one...and her sire was locked up in Azkaban. She had no idea what to do, other than keep to herself for the time being.
After having finally gotten the hang of hanging upside down on the ceiling and walking up and down walls, Betta walked thoughfully at a 90 degree angle to the floor, avoiding the paintings as she did. So far she hadn't had any real thirst for blood, but that was probably because her friends had kept her fully supplied with blood-flavored candy. She giggled as she saw a couple of third-year Ravenclaw students--who had been out on the grounds of Hogwarts long after it had gotten dark--turn pale and point at her, unable to believe what they were seeing.
"Oh come on. Haven't you seen anyone walking sideways on a wall before?" she queried.
"Erm...no...we really should be getting to the dormitory..." the girl spoke, then ran as quickly as she could up the stairs, her friend not far behind her. Betta shrugged, then started walking up the wall, toward the ceiling, swearing at Peeves as he flew through the wall just a foot from her face.
Feeling very sleepy at the moment, Betta made her way into the Great Hall, where she hung upside down above the Slytherin dinner table. She chuckled to herself as she thought of the reactions that some of the students would have by the time breakfast came around.
(I know there are others, I will keep an eye out for them as I work through the other ITM files) NOTE: I have just found ones for the other characters I will post them here over the weekend for you.
Further posts on the RP day before that Thursday afternoon I think (I have no idea why I'm working backwards ><)
Name: Elisabetta Domenici Year: 6th year House: Slytherin Blood line: Pureblood Wand: 13", mahogany, unicorn hair Status: Single
Biography: Elisabetta, or Betta, as she is better known to her friends, was born and raised in an established pureblood wizarding family. She had the best of everything, up until her fifth year at Hogwarts, when she realized that what her parents--both admirers of the Death Eaters of former years--were doing went way beyond the story they had always told her; that instead of merely going on business trips to wizarding conventions, they were, instead, attempting to bring back the old ways be re-enacting the long-dead Dark Lord's orders to kill, torture, and maim as many Muggles as was possible. Once she knew the truth, she confronted her parents about it--this ended up being a nasty row, finally ending with Betta's running away from home. As the start of the new school year was approaching, she managed to get her supplies and make her way to Hogwarts, where she secretly camped out at the edge of the Forbidden Forest until the first day of school.
No longer the overly-flirty tease that she once was, Betta now makes it a point to keep her head down and mind her own business, although unbeknownst to her, her life is about to be flipped upside down once again by a fellow Slytherin named Jerith McKennon.
***********************************************
Name: Jerith McKennon Year: 6th House: Slytherin Bloodline: Pureblood Wand: 14', cedar, dragon's tooth Status: Single, but has an eye on Betta Domenici Vampire
Jerith McKennon, the son of William and Melissa McKennon, hails from a well-respected Irish wizarding family. His life has been a privileged one; he is unaccustomed to not having his way when it comes to things...or people. Although currently single, Jerith has always had something of a wandering eye--one could describe him as the Sirius Black of Slytherin. His wandering eye stops, however, whenever he catches a glimpse of a fellow Slytherin named Elisabetta Domenici.
On a more important note, Jerith was bitten by a vampire named BellaDonna Muse the summer before his sixth year at Hogwarts. Having made the necessary arrangements to keep this side of him from taking over his life completely, although he will gladly admit that given the chance, he'd turn Elisabetta Domenici quicker than one can say "Crucio!". ************************************************
Name: Mindana Marie Brenton Age: 16 House: Slytherin Blood: Pureblood Wand: 12", holly, lion's tooth core Status: Single, but has a serious crush on Dominic
Bio: Mindana Brenton, who is known to her closest friends simply as "Minda," is Elisabetta Domenici's best friend, having known her from the time they were children. She has light brown hair and green eyes, both of which she uses to allure guys to her, something that she and Betta both picked up from their mothers.
Academically, she excels in Herbology, History of Magic, and Potions, though Potions is her least favorite class of them all.
She is friends with Severus and Dmitri Kuranov, but she can't stand Jerith and wonders why Betta bothers to even talk to him.
Name: Dmitri Andreyovich Kuranov Age: 18 House: Slytherin Wand: 11", yew, lion's tooth Patronus: Lion Animagus: Siberian tiger Appearance: Tall (6'0"), yet somewhat stocky; muscular, especially in his chest area; medium brown hair that is always styled in a crew cut, as per his father's orders Relationship status: Single; loves to flirt and pull pranks on girls Blood status: Pureblood
Bio: Dmitri hails from St. Petersburg, Russia, and would have attended Durmstrang had his parents--Andrey and Natalia Kuranov--not decided to move to London the summer before his first year at school. He is also a Siberian tiger Animagus, although he's never bothered with registering with the Ministry.
*************************************************
Name: Dominic Damien Kennedy Age: 18 House: Slytherin Wand: 11', oak, phoenix feather Patronus: Stallion Blood status: Pureblood Appearance: 5'11", brown hair, brown eyes; lean, but not skinny. Relationship status: Single, but due to Jerith's influence, is one of the biggest flirts around. When not with Jerith, however, he's more reserved and brooding. Has no idea how Minda feels about him.
Bio: Dominic comes across as a bit standoffish and arrogant at first, but is actually quite a good friend once he feels comfortable around a person.
"OI, DOMENICI!" Jerith McKennon shouted in the corridor, after spotting the person in question hurrying to her next class. "DOMENICI! WAIT UP!"
Betta groaned, knowing full well that if she didn't turn around and talk to him, he'd become more annoying as the day wore on.
"What, McKennon?" she sighed, glaring at him.
"No love for me?" Jerith queried, an innocent look plastered on his face.
"There never was any."
"Ouch." he replied, suddenly getting a whiff of her blood and having to turn around to try to keep himself from feeling the urge to feed. After a moment, he turned back to Betta and smiled, his gleaming white teeth--which were somewhat longer than one would see on a human being--flashing in the light. "Come on, admit it. You missed me."
"No, I didn't." Betta retorted.
"So I guess that means I don't get a kiss?"
"Bite me, Jerith." came Betta's immediate reposte. To her surprise, Jerith burst out laughing. "What's so funny?"
"You say the most incredible things sometimes, Betts." he chuckled, a mischievous smile crossing his face. At the same time, his inner turmoil flared up again as he looked at her creamy white neck...soft, smooth, pearly white neck...
"I didn't know I was that amusing." Betta muttered, walking into the Potions classroom.
Jerith snickered, then grabbed her upper arm, yanked her toward him, and kissed her for a long moment, pulling away only when he felt his teeth lengthening. Betta sputtered and moved away from him quickly.
"Bloody idiot, leave me be!" she exclaimed, walking backwards. "You've no right! How dare you?"
In response, Jerith began singing an Irish love song, his voice echoing throughout the classroom. Bright red now, Betta sank down into her seat at her desk and buried her face in her hands.
Rafael Channing sat in the farthest corner of the Potions classroom and watched the scene between Betta and Jerith play out. His eyes narrowed, but he managed to keep himself in check until the vampire had left the room, after which he stood up and walked over to Betta, ignoring the groans of disgust from the other students.
"Are you okay?" he queried to Betta, who lifted her head slowly and turned around to see him.
"Not really." replied Betta.
"He's bothering you again?"
"Always. Apparently, the word 'no' isn't in his vocabulary. Bloody imbecile." Betta replied, frowning, when the person in question made his way back into the classroom.
"Oi! Channing! Get away from my girlfriend!"
"I don't know if you've noticed, but she doesn't like you." Rafe replied coolly, lifting a brow.
"Does she like you? I find that hard to believe...a scrawny, maggot-infested beast like you dating such a luscious young woman like--"
"Careful, McKennon. You might find yourself in a lumber yard before too long." Rafe interrupted. The two boys stood glaring at each other for a long moment, each itching to pull his wand out to hex the other. Betta stood up and got between the two.
"This is neither the time nor the place. McKennon, don't you have Divination now?"
"Nope. I changed classes. I'm now in Potions at this time." Jerith grinned, hearing what sounded very much like a growl emanating from Rafe's throat. "Do you have anyone sitting next to you?"
"As a matter of fact I do. Minda." replied Betta, her eyes flashing. "There's only one seat left in this class, and it's by Rafael.'
The grin faded from Jerith's face. Rafe smirked.
"I'd rather sit on a red kappa than sit with him." Jerith replied, sending a nasty glare toward Rafe.
"Well, then you either sit on the teacher's chair, or you sit on the teacher's lap." another voice said. Rafael and Jerith moved out of the way of Mindana Brenton, who sat down beside her friend.
Most of the other characters then head to the library to which follows:
Jerith made his way cheerfully into the library, where he pulled up a chair and sat at the table of two boys, whom he vaguely knew as Lance and Shawn, banging an inkwell and a piece of parchment down onto the wooden table.
"Is this seat taken? No? Okay, then." he exclaimed, pulling out his Ancient Runes textbook and slamming that onto the table as well. "So...'ow did you like Potions today? I heard that Channing was oilier and more unbathed than ever, the ugly git. Did he really get within two feet of Domenici without her vomiting all over the place?"
"Did who get within two feet of Domenici?" Dmitri Kuranov queried, having heard his friend's noisy entrance into the library and moving out from a corner of the room.
"Channing, mate. And she didn't vomit, can you believe it?"
"That greasy git?" Dmitri repeated.
"The same." Jerith replied, chuckling at the librarian's very loud, annoyed "SHH!" He lowered his voice slightly. "I was only telling her 'hello,' and once again, he barged into a situation he had no business being in."
"Figures." Dmitri rolled his eyes. He was about to say something else when a fifth-year Ravenclaw girl caught his eye. "I'd love to stay and talk, but..."
Jerith grinned. "Go get her, Kuranov.'
Lance stared at Jerith in a slightly confused manner, although being a year older he knew who Jerith was referring to.. Elisabetta Dominici had made his top five list three years running and even all knowing Shawn didn’t know that. “Afraid I don’t do potions anymore mate..It was a bit of a drag, kinda like..” “Herbology” Shawn suggested with a smirk
“No...” Lance answered through gritted teeth and getting up from his chair “What would make you say that buddy”. Punching Shawn gently on the arm, he left to go hunt down the text book that Juliet had copied her diagrams from. “I’ll be back”<How hard could it be..>
Shawn rubbed his arm and said, "it looked like it from what I saw in there." He chuckled, and leaned back in his seat.
"I used to have Potions at nine in the morning, but I managed to convince the professor that mornings were hazardous to my health, so I got into Betta's class." Jerith continued, as Dmitri moved off. "Unfortunately, Rafael Channing is in the same class--I'm seriously going to see if the grease in his hair is flammable. I've always wanted to know."
Dmitri walked over to his friend again and nodded at the library door. "Check this out. It's Minda and Dominic."
"Aahhh...so that's where Kennedy's been hiding..." breathed Jerith, smirking. "He's so thick, though...he wouldn't know if a girl liked him even if one came up and screamed it into his face."
"I'm surprised Brenton has done that already." the other boy murmured, when Rafael Channing sauntered in. "Oi...it's Channing."
Jerith pulled his wand out and pointed it at Rafael, who immediately began dancing all over the library, cursing loudly. Dmitri laughed as Jerith made the other boy dance the tango with a nearby third-year Hufflepuff girl, then flipped him upside down, high in the air, his robes falling down over his face.
"Good job, Channing!" Jerith shouted, then howled with laughter when Dmitri joined in by making Rafael's pants vanish. "And you're planning on impressing Domenici with THAT? Are you kidding me?"
During this scene, Dmitri looked over at his friend and noticed that Jerith's teeth had lengthened. He clapped a hand over Jerith's mouth, then released Rafael, who dropped to the ground with a loud 'thud'.
Jerith glared at Dmitri after pulling away from the hand that had clamped over his mouth. "What was that for?"
"Your tooth problem." muttered Dmitri, watching as Minda and Dominic hurried over to Rafael to see if he was all right.
"Leave me be!" Rafe exclaimed to Minda and Dominic as he found his pants (they were hanging off of one of the candelabras in the room), got the down, and put them back on again, the laughter of the other students echoing around him. He looked up to see Jerith and Dmitri roaring with laughter at his plight.
"So..." he growled, taking his own wand out when someone grabbed his wrist. He turned to see Betta standing behind him.
"No, Rafe. Not now." she ordered. "Not now. There'll be another time for that."
"Now's as good a time as any, Betta." he shot back angrily, when she clutched his upper arm.
"DOMENICI!" came Jerith's happy shout as he caught sight of Betta and sauntered over to her. "How are you, Domenici?"
"It's Elisabetta to you, you overgrown flobberworm." Betta snapped, stepping back from him. "Don't touch me!"
Dmitri snickered as Jerith, caught off guard by Betta's protests, stopped in his tracks. The other boy glared at him momentarily, then turned back to Betta, grinning broadly.
"Aww, don't be like that, Elisabetta." Jerith replied. "One date, Betta. That's all I want is one lousy date."
"No." Betta shot back. "Not now, not ever. Leave me alone, McKennon."
"How in the world can you stand to be anywhere near him?" queried Jerith, nodding at Rafael. "That's something I've been dying to know."
"That's none of your business, Jerith."
"Leave her alone, McKennon." came Dominic's lazy drawl as he and Minda strolled up to the group. "She doesn't want to date you; how many times does she have to say that?"
"Until I get the answer I want." Jerith replied, becoming serious. "And I will get the answer I want, I assure you."
"Is that right?" Betta hissed, looking round the library before pulling her wand out and blasting Jerith all the way out into the corridor. Loud claps and cheers emanated from the other students as they witnessed Jerith land flat on his rear on the cold stone corridor floor.
"That's going to be a week in detention for you, Betta." commented Rafael, unable to keep from snickering.
"I don't care. I've had enough of him." snapped Betta, seeing Jerith slowly stand up and brush himself off before standing up straight and staring at her, his face frozen in an unreadable expression.
"Oh look...he wants more. I'll be glad to--"
"Betta, watch it!" Rafael shouted, seeing a blur flying into the library again and knock Betta onto the floor. Jerith, who was in full vampire form, yanked her up onto her feet a second later, then looked around at the terrified students, his eyes glowing amber. A laugh emanated from his throat, as did a growl. Before anyone could say anything...before anyone could move...Jerith had sunk his fangs deeply into Betta's neck, two trickles of blood making their way down onto her shirt collar.
"You son of a--" Rafael shouted, trying to pull Jerith away, but only managing to get one of the vampire's feet moved backwards. Dmitri yanked him back.
"You vill vatch!" the Russian spat, forcing Rafael to witness Betta being fed upon. "You vill vatch your girlfriend gain something you vill nefer haf."
"Get off of her!" Rafael shouted, struggling to free himself from Dmitri, who laughed. A moment later, Jerith detached himself from Betta and looked up at the group, blood running down from his mouth and down his chin.
"She's all yours, Channing." he chuckled, shoving the half-conscious Betta at Rafael. "You'll be having all the fun you can stand with her sometime in the next few days or so."
"What did you do, McKennon?" Rafael spat, forcing himself to hold back tears as he cradled Betta against his chest.
"I procreated. What do you think people like me do?" Jerith said casually. "She'll sleep for a day or two, and then Hogwarts is going to have two of us on its hands."
"The Ministry is going to hear about this."
"And what are they going to do? Kill me?" laughed Jerith. "I'm already dead, idiot!"
"Eric Murphy, McKennon. I'm sure you've heard of him, he's staked no less than 200 vampires in his career in the Ministry. He's the best there is in his field."
Betta was woozy. She had no real idea why this was, but when became conscious again, she felt a sharp pain in the left side of her neck.
"Ouch!" she exclaimed, clamping her hand down on her neck and feeling a couple of lumps there.
"Don't, Betta." another voice--one with what sounded like sadness in it--said, as something pulled her hand away.
"Who is it, and where am I?'" muttered Betta, suddenly realizing that her eyesight was blurry. "I can't see!"
"It's Dominic, and don't worry--your eyesight's going to return. Actually, you might very well have more than 20/20 vision after it's all said and done." replied Dominic, sighing heavily.
Betta turned her head toward the voice. "What are you talking about, Dom?"
"Jerith bit you." another voice--this one sounding very much like Dmitri--sounded from over to her left. "We didn't get you to the hospital wing in time to stop his venom, that's how fast it traveled."
"Wait, so that would mean that...he changed me?"
"Would you like to see the pillow that we've had you biting on in order to keep you from biting anyone else?" Dominic queried, holding up a very ragged pillow filled with small puncture marks. "And this is when your teeth were only a half-inch long."
Betta struggled to sit up, but found herself flying up to the ceiling. She shrieked as she landed squarely on the ceiling, sending a sliver of pain flying up her spine. "Let me down! What's going on? Someone let me down!"
"Let go, Domenici." Dominic ordered.
"Are you mad? I'm going to kill myself if I do!"
"You're already immortal; what's a couple of lumps on the back of your head going to do? Let go before some first year comes in and sees you frolicking on the ceiling!"
"Oh, very funny." Betta muttered, carefully sliding herself over to a chandelier and grabbing on to it, looking fearfully down at the others. "I can't do it...I'm scared of heights!"
"Betta, you can't die again. Just let go, will you?" Dmitri ordered, unable to keep himself from chuckling. "Take one hand off of the chandelier, then take the other one off, then remove one leg, and then the other. I'll catch you."
"I don't trust you."
"You think I trust you, what with your teeth and nails? No, but I'll take the risk. Just let go." Betta closed her eyes and released all four limbs, feeling herself falling until she plopped into Dmitri's arms. "Thank you. You can let me go now. I'll see if I can walk down the wall next time."
Betta, who somehow managed to make out another fuzzy figure in the hospital wing, stumbled over to to the others, trying to make out who they were. After a moment of allowing her sight to adjust, she recognized Danielle.
"What happened?" she asked, puzzled, not realizing that her teeth were still about a quarter of an inch longer than a normal person's were. She smelled something...it was emanating from Danielle's skin and filled her nose. Before she could say anything, something was shoved into her mouth.
"Nope. Not today, Betts." Dominic said, handing Betta a bundle of blood pops. "Do you want to join Jerith in Azkaban?"
"Jerith's in Azkaban?" Betta repeated quietly.
"Yes. I turned him in." Dmitri said, glancing back at Danielle and lowering his voice. "Don't make me do the same to you."
Betta pouted, then glanced up at the ceiling and decided to test a theory that had just run through her head. She jumped up once, twice, then finally succeeded in flying back up to the ceiling, where she hung upside down, still sucking on the blood pop in her mouth. Dominic rolled his eyes and turned to Danielle.
"Don't mind Betta. She's gone a bit loopy." he apologized. "If she tries anything, call either me or Dmitri. We'll be hanging around outside the infirmary."
Danielle opened her eyes at the sound of Dominic’s voice, replied with a frightened ‘mmm hmm’ and ducked away pulling the duvet high up over her body and head. ( Dani is a Gryff 1st year)
Dmitri nodded in agreement. "Jerith's in Azkaban, so he's not a threat; he would be the one to look out for. Miss Domenici, however, will not be biting anyone. I think she's going to enjoy hanging upside down more than feeding." he finished, looking up and rolling his eyes. "But like we said, if she does so much as lay one nail of hers on you, we'll have her hauled off to join her sire." He patted Danielle's arm reassuringly. "Dom and I will go tell your friends...unless you want to when they return...?'
“It..it’s alright” Danielle answered nervously peeking out from underneath the cover “They’ve..Probably left already f..f.. for Hogsmede”
(And I think that's it... All done for you Amanda)
